Love folk music? Want to learn to play, or brush up your rusty skills? Esther and Dave have been playing together in the local old-time stringband Onion Honey for over twelve years and would love to help you out with your musical ambitions!
Clawhammer Banjo with Esther - beginner and intermediate students: technique, old-time tunes in multiple tunings, chord shapes, basic theory and musical skills, and arrangements of songs by request.
Mandolin and Acoustic Guitar with Dave - students of any level: basic folk and bluegrass techniques and chord shapes as well as flatpicking and crosspicking, playing with a band, etc.
Lessons can be scheduled at our place or yours for evenings or weekends, $40 for 45 minutes.
